Kobs RFChad a rest as their game against University side Impis was delayed due to the holiday season for the students

 

The game of the weekend no doubt came from Entebbe as Mongers hosted Rhinos at the 'House of pain'.Mongers who were playing their first game of the season and displaying new kit shook off their early season rust to subdue their visitors.Rhinos have now lost 2 of their opening games,the first being a 32-00 loss to UTL Kobs.

 

 

Defending league champions MTN Heathens completely annihilated visiting Nile 81-00 in a one sided but very physical and rough encounter that saw Heathens flanker Mathias Ochwo getting injured early in the game.Heathens crossed the try line 11 times and Jude Kerrmundu scored 26 points from his boot.Veteran flanker Robert 'Soggy' Seguya led the try scorers with 4 tries as7 different Heathens players scored tries.

 

G4S Pirates gave Toyota Buffaloes a hiding in another one sided encounter at KRUFC.Pirates powerful forward line took control as they taught their opponents a lesson in ruck and mauling.Piratesmaintained second positioned on the table by points difference.Pirates are now coached by newly arrived  South African Andre Barnard an Irb level III coach from Natal South Africa and have ambitions of winning their first league title this year.

 

Next weekend UTL Kobs host Toyota Buffaloes,G4S Pirates host Rhinos while Nile travel from Jinja to Entebbe to face Mongers at the 'House of Pain'.
