Coach Ham Onsando has confirmed that Alan Musoke and Gama Faisal will not be travelling to Nairobi due to tight work schedules. Musoke has just changed jobs while Gama’s schedule means he can only leave Friday evening which will not fit into the Coach’s plans. That means Uganda will travel with only one recognised scrum half for the crucial 2nd leg of the Elgon Cup. Musoke’s absence sees Jemba get his first start at fly-half with Benon Kizza covering at full back. Denis Etuket returns to the wing alongside Bishop Onen. The center pairing that worked against Zimbabwe is reunited with Wokorach joining Timothy Mudoola at outside Center. John Musoke will provide cover for all the back positions apart from the wings where Jude Kerrmundu has been called up and could have his debut. The electric winger was the Top try scorer in the league and the recent CAR tournament in Tanzania with Uganda A. The forwards see another possible debut of Timothy Dumba who will provide a second line out option alongside Captain Mathias Ochwo with Ogwete failing to recover from a rib injury. As earlier predicted Mubiru returns in the front row in place of Solomon Mawanda and Scott Oluoch returns to his favoured number 8 position. The team travels to Nairobi this morning aboard Fly 540.
